Terms & Conditions

Thanks for choosing Dough House for your event. We're a family-run mobile pizza catering business, and we take pride in making your day special. These terms help make sure everything runs smoothly for both of us.

By paying your deposit and confirming your booking, you're agreeing to these terms.

Booking & Payment

Deposits

To secure your date, we require a 50% deposit at the time of booking. This confirms your event and takes the date off our calendar.

Final Payment

The remaining balance is due 2 weeks before your event. All payments must be received in full before we arrive.

If payment isn't received on time, we reserve the right to cancel the booking. In this case, no refund will be made and any outstanding balance remains due.

What's Included

Your quoted price covers all agreed food and services, including travel, fuel, setup, and pack-down. Any extras will be clearly discussed and agreed before your event.

Guest Numbers

Increasing Numbers

Need more pizzas? We'll do our best to accommodate additional guests. Please note: If your original quote included a promotional discount, additional portions may be charged at our standard rate.

Decreasing Numbers

More than 2 weeks before: Reductions up to -10% are possible. If a promotional discount was applied to your original booking, standard pricing will apply to the revised quote.

Within 2 weeks: Unfortunately, we can't offer refunds for reduced numbers at this stage, as we'll have already purchased ingredients and declined other bookings.

Rescheduling Your Event

We understand plans can change. If you need to move your date, please let us know as soon as possible. Rescheduling is subject to availability - if we don't have another date that works, our standard cancellation terms will apply.

Cancellation

If you need to cancel your event, your deposit is non-refundable. Where possible, we'll try to refund any balance paid over and above your deposit, but this isn't guaranteed.

We know this sounds firm, but once you've booked, we've turned away other enquiries for your date and started planning for your event.

On the Day

Timings

We'll work with you to agree on serving times before your event. We'll stick to these as closely as possible, though sometimes things beyond our control can cause minor adjustments.

If you need to extend our service time on the day, we'll do our best to accommodate this, though additional charges may apply (payable within 7 days).

Running Late?

We understand events can run behind schedule. We'll be as flexible as we can, but if we need to stay significantly beyond our agreed time, we reserve the right to charge for the extra time or stick to the original schedule.

Extra Portions

We often bring extra ingredients so you don't run short. Once we've served everything you've ordered, we'll check with you or your point of contact. If you'd like more, we're happy to keep cooking and we'll invoice you afterwards (payable within 7 days).

If you'd prefer we don't serve any extras, please let us know in writing before the event.

Last-Minute Time Changes

Changes to your schedule on the day are subject to availability and may incur additional charges, payable immediately.

Dietary Requirements

We're happy to cater for vegetarians, vegans, and most dietary needs. Please let us know about any requirements when you book so we can plan accordingly.

Important note for coeliac guests: We take every precaution, including using a dedicated tray in the oven and serving coeliac guests first. However, we work in a pizza van where flour is present throughout, so we cannot guarantee a completely gluten-free environment.

It's your responsibility to inform us of dietary requirements before the event.

Allergen Information

All our pizzas contain wheat (gluten) and milk. They may also contain traces of soya, mustard, and sesame. Full allergen information for specific pizzas is available on request.

Setup & Access

Vehicle Access

Our setup requires vehicle access to your location with enough space to tow in and manoeuvre a horsebox, on firm, level ground. If you're unsure whether your venue is suitable, just send us a photo or pin and we'll let you know. We do have alternative setups available - please let us know early so we can plan accordingly. Please tell us in advance about any access restrictions (narrow lanes, low bridges, weight limits, uneven ground, etc.) so we can plan accordingly. If we can't access your venue due to restrictions we weren't told about, we may not be able to deliver your event.

Parking

It's your responsibility to arrange any permissions needed for us to park and serve hot food, particularly in public spaces. If parking isn't possible at your chosen location, please arrange an alternative nearby.

Any parking fines incurred while delivering your event will be charged to you.

Rubbish

We don't offer rubbish collection as our vehicles aren't set up for waste storage. Please arrange for disposal of any rubbish generated during the event.

If We Need to Cancel

In the unlikely event that we're unable to deliver your event, we'll give you a full refund.

However, if we have to cancel because you haven't provided essential information (full address, menu choices, serving time, set up access etc.) or haven't completed payment, no refund will be made and any outstanding balance remains due.

Force Majeure

We can't accept liability for events beyond our control, including (but not limited to) severe weather, road closures, accidents, civil unrest, or other unforeseen circumstances that prevent us from delivering your event.

Refund Processing

Where refunds are due, we'll process them within 30 days of confirmation. For cancellations made within 7 days, we'll aim to process refunds within 10 working days.
